Franchise history
2015-2017: Metro Jaguars

The Metro Jaguars are a Hockey Canada sanctioned Junior C hockey team founded in 2015 playing in Nova Scotia Junior C Hockey League. The team is based out of the Dartmouth Sportsplex in the Downtown Dartmouth section of the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia. The team won their first league championship during the 2016-17 season.  The team finish third in the round robin portion of the 2017 Maritime-Hockey North Junior C Championships and lost in the final 4-0 to the Southern Sting of the New Brunswick Junior Hockey League.

A posting on the NSJRHL league website October 18, 2017 indicated that the franchise was for sale.  The team was also not listed on the league schedule anymore.
