Matt Marquardt (born July 19, 1987 in North Bay, Ontario) is a left winger currently playing for the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL. His NHL rights belong to the Edmonton Oilers.

No Ontario Hockey League team drafted him so he was free to join any major junior team in Canada. Ted Nolan got him to join him in Moncton. He played junior hockey for the Baie-Comeau Drakkar and the Moncton Wildcats from 2005 to 2008. The Columbus Blue Jackets chose him 194th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and then traded him to the Boston Bruins in 2008.

Marquardt turned pro with the Providence Bruins in 2008-09. He was traded by the Bruins to the Edmonton Oilers in February, 2010, for Cody Wild.
