Matt Beaudoin (born April 6, 1984 in Rock Forest, Quebec) is a professional ice hockey forward currently with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL.

Collegiate career Edit

Beaudoin played four years for Central Collegiate Hockey Association's Ohio State University starting in 2003. Beaudoin would score 89 points in 149 games for the Buckeyes, with his best season coming in his sophomore year during the 2004-05 in which he scored 23 goals and 11 assists for 34 points in 40 games.

Professional career Edit

Beaudoin's professional career began immediately following his senior season at Ohio State as he signed with the Central Hockey League's Arizona Sundogs during the 2007 Ray Miron President's Cup playoffs, scoring two goals and an assist for three points in 14 playoff games for Arizona.

Following his playoff stint with Arizona, Beaudoin signed as a free agent with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL in 2007. After only one game with one assist for Las Vegas, Beaudoin was traded to the Dayton Bombers and proved quite successful, scoring 68 points in 64 regular season games and appearing in two playoff games. Beaudoin would also see call ups to the Iowa Stars, Rochester Americans, and Hershey Bears during the 2007-08 season.

Beaudoin would sign with Las Vegas once again as a free agent in 2008. Beaudoin has seen two call ups since the season started; one game with the San Antonio Rampage and two games with the Milwaukee Admirals, before being returned to Las Vegas..
