Mathieu Biron (b. April 29, 1980 in Lac-St-Charles, Quebec, Canada) is a professional defenseman who currently plays in the AHL with the Worcester Sharks.
Drafted by the Los Angeles Kings 21st overall of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, Biron spent his whole career sharing his time between the National Hockey League and the AHL.
He was traded on December 15th 2006 to the Montreal Canadiens for Patrick Traverse.
His brother Martin plays for the Buffalo Sabres.
