Mathew Dumba (born July 25, 1994) is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing for the Red Deer Rebels in the Western Hockey League (WHL). A highly-rated prospect, Dumba was selected by the Minnesota Wild with the seventh overall pick in the first round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He ranked 11th among all North American skaters according to NHL Central Scouting going into the draft. [1]

Dumba is of Filipino (Mother's side) and Romanian (Father) descent.[2]
