Mark Vermette (born October 3, 1967 in Cochenour, Ontario) was a professional ice hockey player who played 67 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the Quebec Nordiques.

He was a star for the Lake Superior Lakers from 1985 to 1988 and helped them win the 1988 NCAA title. The Quebec Nordiques chose him 134th overall in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft.

Vermette turned pro in 1988-89 and split the season between the Nordiques and the Halifax Citadels. That was the pattern for four years. In 1992-93 he played the entire season in Halifax. His last season was 1993-94 with the Las Vegas Thunder.

In his NHL career Vermette played in 67 games and scored 5 goals and 13 assists.
