Mariodoyon

Mario Doyon (born August 27, 1968 in Quebec City, Quebec) is a retired Canadian ice hockey defenceman. He played in the NHL for the Chicago Blackhawks and Quebec Nordiques.

He played junior hockey for the Drummondville Voltigeurs from 1985 to 1988. The Chicago Blackhawks chose him 119th overall in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft.

Doyon turned pro in 1988-89 with the Saginaw Hawks and also played 7 games with Chicago. He was traded to the Quebec Nordiques in 1990 and played 21 games for them over two seasons.

In 1994 he went to Europe to pley for HC Bolzano. Doyon returned in 1995-96 to play for the San Francisco Spiders and then went back to Europe in 1996-97. He remained there until 2003, playing in Switzerland and Germany.

In 2003 Doyon played one season for the Indianapolis Ice and one for the Corpus Christi IceRays. He retired in 2005.

In the NHL Doyon scored 3 goals and 4 assists in 28 games.
