The women's team played in the ECAC East from 1999 until 2009, the team had played a reduced schedule for most of its existence.  The school has had a women's club team  since 2006.

The men's team was a member of the ECAC from 1964 to 1975.  The team appears to have played previously to this time frame.  The men's hockey team is presently a club sports team at the school being a member of the Northeast Collegiate Hockey Association which is a conference in the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
