The Lower Mainland Senior League was a senior amateur league in the Vancouver area of British Columbia.

HistoryEdit

This league was a ressurection of the old Vancouver City Senior League. The military buildup of World War II had brought a large number of hockey players to the area. Minor pro hockey (the Pacific Coast Hockey League) had stopped due to the war so there was a demand for a replacement.

The league was set up in 1942.

Although the league only lasted a year, some of the teams played in the Pacific Coast Senior Hockey Association in the following season.
