The Long Beach Sharks were a minor pro team in Long Beach, California. They played in the Pacific Hockey League in 1977-78.
They started out as the Hawks and were renamed the Rockets in February, 1978. They finished in fourth and last place with a 15-27-0 record. Their coach was Ted McCaskill.
In the off-season they moved to the Los Angeles Forum and were renamed the Los Angeles Blades.
