This is a list of Ontario Hockey Association Junior C regular seasons:
Starting in 2016, the Junior C level will be one league with 4 conferences and 8 divisions with the Schmalz Cup as its league title.
The Modern Era began in 2012 when the OHA abolished Junior D and promoted the Southern Ontario League to Junior C. This was followed by a realignment in 2013 between the Niagara & District League and Southern Ontario League as they both heavily overlapped borders. The NDJCHL swelled from 12 to 18 teams, while the SOJHL dropped from 15 to 9. To further complicate matters, weeks after the realignment, the Niagara League split in two to form a new Midwestern League out of its Western Division.
In the summer of 2016, all 8 leagues merged into one, forming the Provincial Junior Hockey League. Each former league now acts as a division, divided into 4 conferences.

The 6-League Era last for 18 seasons with little-to-no realignment at the Junior C level. It began in 1994 with the merger of the Mid-Ontario and Georgian Bay Leagues and ended in 2012 with the promotion of the Southern Ontario League to Junior C and the abolishing of Junior D.
The only notable change during this era was the Eastern Ontario renaming itself the Empire B League as it was coexisting with the neighbouring Eastern Ontario Junior C Hockey League of the Ottawa District Hockey Association and drawing confusion between the two.
Classic Era (1971-94)Edit
This Classic Era is an era of semi-stability in Junior C hockey. It begins with the major OHA realignment of junior hockey in the early 70s. Lost are the Suburban and Intercounty Leagues and in or reinforced are the Central, Great Lakes, Georgian Bay, Mid-Ontario, Niagara & District, Quinte St. Lawrence, and what would later be called the Western.
The Quinte St. Lawrence League would fizzle and die in 1986, only to reform in 1989 under the Eastern Ontario League banner. The Western League, sometimes called the Central Group 2 or Grey-Bruce League, in the late 1980s would gain its Western League moniker. The era would close with the merging of the Mid-Ontario and Georgian Bay Leagues for the second time in less than 20 years.
