History and International Tournaments
Liechtenstein joined the International Ice Hockey Federation in 2001. Some games have been played in the country, but it has not debuted at World Championships. There is no national hockey league played in Liechtenstein. But there is a team, Vaduz-Schellenburg.
It has only played a couple of exhibition games against the Luxembourgish National Team, all of which they lost. The team's players come mostly from the country's lone ice hockey club, EHC Vaduz-Schellenberg.
