History[]

The Lethbridge Native Sons were a junior team.

They started out in the Southern Alberta Junior League from 1946-48 and then moved to the Western Canada Junior Hockey League (1949-56).

The Native Sons won their league in 1946-47, 1947-48, and 1952-53. In each of these seasons they advanced to, and lost in, the Western Canada Memorial Cup Playoffs.

The Western Canada Junior Hockey League (1949-56) folded in 1956 and so did the Native Sons.

The team was revived in 1960. In both 1960-61 and 1961-62 the Native Sons played in an intermediate league and then lost the Alberta Junior Final.
