Kylie Elizabeth Klassen (born January 14, 1990) is a women’s ice hockey player from Manitoba. Currently, she competes for the Plattsburgh State Cardinals in ECAC Division III.
From 2006 to 2008, she was a member of Team Manitoba. She would compete in the 2007 Canada Winter Games and earn a silver medal. In 2008, Klassen would win the Bronze Medal with Team Manitoba at the Canadian Nationals.
Klassen played in the inaugural season for the Syracuse Orange. She picked up an assist on the first goal scored in Syracuse history. The goal was scored against the Colgate Raiders. On October 31, she scored her first NCAA goal versus the Sacred Heart Pioneers. In the game, she also picked up an assist, giving her the first two-point game of her NCAA career. A November 21 matchup versus the Wayne State Warriors resulted in the first power play goal of her career. In the game, she led the Orange with five shots on goal. On January 31, 2009, (versus Niagara), she raised her plus/minus rating to a team-best plus 3. In a contest versus Sacred Heart on February 14, she had a career high six shots on goal. In the postseason, she would score the first playoff goal in Syracuse program history. This was accomplished versus Niagara on March 5.
The 2010-11 season was her first with the Plattsburgh State Cardinals of ECAC Division III. She participated in all 27 games, while notching eight goals and four assists. On November 14, 2010, she scored her first goal as a Cardinal versus Neumann College. Her best performance of the season was a three point weekend versus Oswego College on January 29 and 30, 2011 (she registered two goals and one assist).
