Kevin Smyth (born November 22, 1973 in Banff, Alberta) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 58 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the Hartford Whalers.

He played junior hockey for the Moose Jaw Warriors from 1990 to 1993 and was chosen 79th overall by the Hartford Whalers in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. From 1993 to 1996 he saw limited action with the Whalers, mostly as an injury replacement. Smyth played in 58 NHL games and scored 6 goals and 8 assists, while also playing for the Springfield Indians.

In 1996, while playing for the Orlando Solar Bears of the International Hockey League, Smyth suffered an eye injury. That ended his season and his NHL career. But Smyth came back the next season (1997-98) with the Solar Bears and won the Comeback Player of the Year Award.

He retired in 1999.
