Kevin Schamehorn (born July 28, 1956 in Victoria, British Columbia) is a retired NHL player. He played in 10 NHL games with the Los Angeles Kings and Detroit Red Wings.

He played junior hockey for the powerful New Westminster Bruins from 1974 to 1976. They played in the Memorial Cup tournaments in 1975 & 1976. Schamehorn was a good scorer and a gritty player with 276 penalty minutes in 1975-76.

The Detroit Red Wings chose him 58th overall in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft. He played three games for the Wings in 1976-77 but otherwise had a fine rookie season with the Kalamazoo Wings. Schamehorn was only called up for two more games with the Wings in 1979-80 and spent all of his time in the minor pros.

He signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Kings in 1980. His situation did not change much, as he only got into five games for them in 1980-81. Schamehorn eventually ended up back with the Kalamazoo Wings and was a high goal scorer in the International Hockey League. He retired in 1990.
