The Kelowna-Penticton Combines were formed on December 18,1960 in the Okanagan Senior League. This was a result of the Penticton V's folding on Dec. 1 and the Kelowna Packers folding on Dec. 8.

This enabled the league to keep on going with the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association's minimum of three teams in a league.

Kelowna-Penticton finished third but beat the Kamloops Chiefs in the semi final before losing out to the Vernon Canadians in the final.

The league could not survive and folded before the next season.
