Keith Christopher Redmond (born October 25, 1972) is a former NHL hockey left winger, who played 12 games for the Los Angeles Kings for the 1993-94 season.

Biography Edit

Keith Redmond was born October 25, 1972 in Richmond Hill, Ontario and played college hockey for Bowling Green University during the 1990-91 and 1991-92 hockey seasons. He also spent part of the 1991-92 season in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) playing for the Belleville Bulls and the Detroit Ambassadors.

He was chosen 79th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. He turned pro in 1992-93 with the Phoenix Roadrunners of the International Hockey League. Redmond was called up to the Kings for 12 games in 1993-94 and scored a goal. The next year he was returned to Phoenix.

Redmond was an alcoholic and he got into a fight with the Phoenix coach, flattening him with two punches. By 1996 he was out of hockey. He has since become a recovering alcoholic and works to help others with the same problem.
