Playing career[]

Before Brown: Graduate of The Rivers School, where she won four letters in ice hockey … Was a captain during her senior season … Led her team to the New England Division II semifinals as a senior … Played club hockey for the East Coast Wizards … Also lettered in softball.[1]

NCAA[]

Her first season with the Bears was the 2008-09 campaign. She appeared in 28 games but only recorded three points (one goal, two assists). She served four minutes of penalties, while managing six blocked shots. Her first NCAA point came on January 16, 2009 vs. St. Lawrence. Her first goal came on the last game of the season. It came in a victory over the Quinnipiac Bobcats. In the following season, she appeared in 28 contests for the team. She doubled her goal scoring output, by registering two goals on 33 shots, while serving 6 penalty minutes. The 2010-11 season marked the third consecutive season where she played in at least 28 games. In ECAC Conference play, she managed one goal and two assists, while serving four minutes in penalties. On November 25, 2011, she assisted on Janice Yang’s first career goal, as the Bears claimed the Mayor’s Cup.[2]
