Jim Troy (Born January 21, 1953, in Boston, Massachusetts) is a retired hockey forward. He was not drafted by either the National Hockey League or the World Hockey Association. He played 68 games in the World Hockey Association for the New England Whalers and the Edmonton Oilers from 1975 to 1978, scoring two goals.

He was the playing-coach of the Cape Cod Buccaneers in 1981-82.
