Jim McGeough

James McGeough (born April 13 1963, Regina, Saskatchewan) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player. He is the brother of former NHL referee Mick McGeough.

Drafted 110th overall in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals, McGeough also played for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

McGeough had an impressive junior career with three different teams in the Western Hockey League, surpassing 100 points twice. Despite that, he never caught on as a regular in the NHL.

Starting in 1983, he bounced around the minor pros in Europe and North America. He finally founs a home with the Wichita Thunder in the late 90's for five seasons. He retired in 2004.

In the NHL he played 57 games, scoring 7 goals and 10 assists.
