Jessica Gagner (born May 7, 1991) is a women's hockey player from Ontario. Currently, she competes for the Dartmouth Big Green women's ice hockey program.

Playing career[]

Gagner was born during the 1991 Stanley Cup Finals. She was born while her father Dave Gagner, played for the Minnesota North Stars in the finals. An announcement was made during one of the games, drawing a large cheer.[1]

She competed in high school hockey in Minnesota with one season at Breck School Mustangs. Her family relocated to London, Ontario and she played three seasons with the Bluewater Hawks of the Provincial Women's Hockey League. In her final season with Bluewater, she was the team captain.

NCAA[]

During the 2011–12 Dartmouth Big Green women's ice hockey season, Gagner appeared in every game for the first time in her career.

Personal[]

Her father, Dave Gagner is a former hockey player with the Minnesota North Stars. Currently, he is the director of player development for the Vancouver Canucks. Sam Gagner, her brother, competes with the Columbus Blue Jackets. A sister, Renee Gagner plays for the Toronto Lady Blues women's ice hockey team.
