Jesse Leonard Spring (January 18, 1901 in Alba, Pennsylvania – March 25, 1942) was an American professional hockey forward who played 6 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Hamilton Tigers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Americans

Spring played junior for the De La Salle Academy in 1917-18 and the Parkdale Canoe Club in 1918-19. He then spent four years playing senior hockey for local teams in Toronto and Timmins, Ontario.

The Hamilton Tigers signed him in 1923 and he played two seasons for the team. Instead of transferring to the New York Americans like the rest of the Tigers, Spring was loaned to the Pittsburgh Pirates for the 1925-26 season.

The Toronto Maple Leafs accquired him in 1926. After two games there, Spring was traded back to the Americans.

In 1928 Spring was traded to the Pirates with whom he played another two seasons to 1930. He played in the minor pros until 1932 when he retired.

He became the coach of the senior Oshawa Blue Imps in 1932 and coached the River Vale Skeeters in 1941-42.
