Jeff Toms

Jeff Toms (born June 4, 1974 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian ice hockey player.

Toms played junior hockey for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, winning the Memorial Cup in 1993.

Originally selected 210th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, Toms was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning, where he would spend a few seasons before he was claimed on waivers by the Washington Capitals. Toms would also play for the New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Florida Panthers.

Since 2003, he has been playing hockey in Nationalliga A in Switzerland (Europe) where he played one season with EHC Basel, three with HC Ambri-Piotta and since December 2006 he's playing with Langnau

He played for Team Canada in the Spengler Cup in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Due to play in 2007, he is unable to due to injury.

He now plays for Genève-Servette HC in the Swiss Nationalliga A.
