John Hampson "Cactus Jack" Wells

one of Canada's best known sportscasters... started his radio career in Saskatoon in 1937... later worked at CJRC and CKY radio, CBC-TV, CJAY and CKY-TV in Winnipeg... wrote freelance sports columns for the Winnipeg Tribune... named to the Manitoba Sportswriters and Sportscasters Media Roll of Honour.
