Jonathan Tanner "J. T." Miller (born March 14, 1993) is an American ice hockey player who currently plays for the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Miller previously played for the USA Hockey National Team Development Program of the United States Hockey League (USHL). He was selected 15th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Rangers.
Miller grew up in a residential area just blocks away from the East Palestine Elementary, Intermediate, and High School; all of which he attended until his sophomore year of high school. Miller began playing hockey at a young age, while highly active in other organized athletics such as football, baseball, attic hockey at his grandmother's, and for a short period drag racing. Throughout his football career he played quarterback.
