HistoryEdit

The Hull Canadiens were a senior team that played several seasons over a period of 45 years.

They played in the Ottawa City Senior League in 1917-18.

After that the Canadiens played in the Hull & District League for five seasons in the 1930's.

The next version of the team played in the Interprovincial Senior Hockey League in 1960-61 and won the league title. They then lost the quarter final in 1960-61 Eastern Canada Allan Cup Playoffs.

These Canadiens were the junior farm team of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens. The season before they were the Brockville Canadiens. The next year they became the Montreal Junior Canadiens.

The coach of the team was Claude Ruel, who had also coached the Brockville Canadiens.
