Henriktallinder

Henrik Tallinder (b. January 10th 1979 in Stockholm, Sweden age 34) is a professional defenseman who plays in the National Hockey League for the New Jersey Devils.

Drafted by the Sabres in the second round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft (48th overall), Tallinder began his pro career with the Stockholm-based AIK IF of the Elitserien in 1996 and began playing in North America in 2001-02.

In 2005, the defenseman, along with his countrymates Kristian Huselius and Andreas Lilja, has been investigated on suspicion of sexual aggression. The trio allegedly raped a 22 years old woman on February 9th 2005, accusations that led to the three of them being either released or suspended from their teams (Linköpings HC for Tallinder and Huselius, Mora IK for Lilja). However, due to the absence of evidence suggesting such events had taken place, the charges have been dropped.
