Born in Edmonton, Alberta, on March 3, 1964, to Stan and Jeannine Kulka, (the youngest of 4 children) Glenn Kulka began playing junior hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League with the Cowichan Valley Capitals in 1980 and the Medicine Hat Tigers, Spokane Flyers and the Nanaimo Islanders in the Western Hockey League from 1981-1983.

He then played football in the Canadian Football League.

In 1993-94 he played for the Hampton Roads Admirals of the ECHL. That marked the end of his hockey career. Kulka then entered wrestling.
