Ginorozzini

Gino Rozzini (b. October 24, 1918 in Shawinigan, Quebec - d. April 18, 1996) was a professional ice hockey centre who played 31 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the Boston Bruins.

He played senior hockey in Sudbury, Ontario from 1936 to 1940. He then played senior hockey for the St. Catharines Saints in 1940-41 and joined the Quebec Aces in 1941-42. He won the Allan Cup in 1944 with the Aces.

In 1944-45 Rozzini joined the Boston Olympics and was called up to the Boston Bruins that season. He played in 31 games and scored 5 goals and 10 assists.

He then played minor pro hockey until 1951. In that year he joined the senior Spokane Flyers of the Western International Hockey League for five seasons.

Rozzini took the 1956-57 season off and returned in 1957-58 as the coach of the Rossland Warriors. In 1958-59 he made a two-game comeback and then retired for good.
