Gary Shuchuk (born February 17, 1967 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a retired Canadian ice hockey centre.

Shuchuk started his National Hockey League career with the Detroit Red Wings in 1990. He also played for the Los Angeles Kings, and is probably best known for scoring the game winning goal for the Kings in double overtime of game 5 of the 1993 Smythe Division finals against the Vancouver Canucks. He left the NHL after the 1996 season.

He played for the Tier II Junior "A" St. Albert Saints from 1984 to 1986 and then the University of Wisconsin from 1986 to 1990. He was an All-American in his final year. The Detroit Red Wings chose him in the 1988 NHL Supplemental Draft.

Shuchuk turned pro in 1990-91 with the Adirondack Red Wings and also played six regular season and three playoff games with Detroit. That was all the NHL action that Shuchuk would see until he was traded to the Los Angeles Kings in the middle of the 1992-93 season as part of the Jimmy Carson - Paul Coffey trade. He helped the Kings reach the Stanley Cup Final that season.

He played the 1993-94 season for the Kings, scoring seven points in 56 games. He split the next two seasons between the Kings and the Phoenix Roadrunners. Shuchuk then played for the Houston Aeros in 1996-97.

He played for another seven seasons, five of them in Europe. Shuchuk retired in 2004 after a season as a player-assistant coach for the Springfield Falcons.

In the NHL Shuchuk played in 142 games and scored 13 goals and 26 assists.
