Frederick "Doc" Doherty (born June 15, 1887, February 12, 1961) was a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger who played 1 game in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens. He was born in Norwood, Ontario.
In 1911 Doherty moved to the Maritime Professional Hockey League where he was an equally proficient scorer until 1913 when he moved to the National Hockey Association. He spent three years in that league and then two years in the Canadian military during World War I.
He made a comeback with the Montreal Canadiens in 1918-19 but only lasted one game before retiring.
