Fred Boimistruck (born January 14, 1962 in Sudbury, Ontario) is a retired Canadian ice hockey defenceman. He played in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

He played for the Cornwall Royals when they won back-to-back Memorial Cups in 1980 & 1981. Drafted 43rd overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. He was brought up immediately by the Leafs to the NHL.

In retrospect the club admitted that this was a very bad policy which ruined several careers and did little to help the struggling club.

In Boimisturck's case, he played 57 games in 1981-82 and 26 in 1982-83. His confidence was ruined by all the pressure and he never played in the NHL again. He retired in 1987 at the age of 25.
