Fox Sports is a sub-division of the Fox Corporation American television network. It handles sports program for the network. The network had rights to the National Hockey League's games from the 1994-95 season until the 1998-99 season, with main programs of NHL on Fox and FOX NHL Saturday.
The network introduced (and is most remembered) for the FoxTrax which was a system to track the puck during game play.[1][2] The intent was to make it easier for new fans to follow the game but it was ridiculed by fans and comedians on both sides of the Canada-US border.[3]
