Yekaterina Smolentseva (born September 15, 1981[1] in Sverdlovsk, USSR) is a Russian female ice hockey player, a member of the 2010 Russian national women's team.

Playing career[]

Smolentseva has appeared in the 2002 and 2006 Olympic winter games with the Russian national team. She has led the Russian team in scoring at each of the past three World Championships (2007, 2008 and 2009). During the 2009 tournament, she registered six points in just three games in 2009. [2]
