The World Junior A Challenge is an international junior event hosted by the Canadian Junior Hockey League and Hockey Canada. The two Canadian teams in the event are to be prospect teams for the CJHL in a similar fashion as the CJHL All-Star Game's two teams, but they play against international competition.
