Wayne Rivers (born February 1, 1942 in Hamilton, Ontario) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 108 games in the National Hockey League and 357 games in the World Hockey Association. He played with the St. Louis Blues, Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, New York Raiders, New York Golden Blades, New Jersey Knights, and San Diego Mariners.

He played junior hockey with the Hamilton Red Wings of the Ontario Hockey Association Junior A from 1960-62.

After graduating from junior, he spent his time as a journeyman minor pro winger with only limited time in the National Hockey League.

The founding of the World Hockey Association (WHA) in 1972 gave Rivers his big chance. He spent five successful seasons (1972-77) as a big scorer with WHA teams.

He spent two seasons with the San Francisco Shamrocks of the Pacific Hockey League before retiring in 1979.
