The Verdun Bulldogs had two teams in 1939-40.
The senior team finished in 5th place in the Provincial Senior Hockey League and lost the quarter final.
The junior team finished in first place in the Mount Royal Junior League and then won the final. After that they lost the semi final in the 1939-40 Quebec Junior Playoffs.
