Tyson Beukeboom born in Edmonton, Alberta[1] is a former women's ice hockey player.
Playing career[]
She played both hockey and rugby through high school, while also participating with the basketball, cross-country and mountain-biking teams.[2] With the Uxbridge Tigers, she helped the team place fourth in provincial play, while being recognized as a Toronto Star High School Girls Hockey All-Star (other girls that were named to the All-Star team that year included Thea Imbrogno and Brianne Jenner). In a 3-2 loss to Sinclar in the high school playoffs (semifinal game) of her senior year, she assisted on both goals.[3]
With the Whitby Jr. Wolves, she played at a showcase tournament at the Bell Sensplex in Kanata, Ontario. In 2009-10, she suited up for the hockey and rugby teams at St. Francis Xavier, helping both reach the CIS championship.

Personal life[]
She plays rugby for St. Francis Xavier University. In 2012, she was nominated for the CIS Female Athlete of the Year.[6]
Family[]
Four time Stanley Cup champion Jeff Beukeboom is her father. His last game was played on February 12, 1999.[7] Her brother, Brock Beukeboom is a defenseman who is a prospect in the St. Louis Blues system and currently playing for the Niagara IceDogs of the Ontario Hockey League.[8] Brock was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 3rd round (63rd pick) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.[9] He was traded to the Blues in February 2011 along with a 3rd round draft pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for Eric Brewer.[10]
