This is the 2014-15 Midwest Junior Hockey League season. This was the league's third and final season. The league was a member of the Amateur Athletic Union's United Hockey Union for all 3 of the league's 3 seasons. The league annouced on March 12, 2015 that it and all member teams were becoming part of the United States Premier Hockey League's Midwestern Division.
Membership changes[]
- The Bloomington Jr. Blaze moved to Decatur and were renamed the Decatur Blaze
- The league added the Alpena Flyers, the Fraser, Michigan based MC Monarchs (which was originaly scheduled to be based in Mount Clemens, Michigan) and the Walker based West Michigan Freeze (which was originally supposed to be an expansion team for the 2013-14 season).
- The West Michigan Freeze suspended operations on August 20, 2014
- The Berkley Bruins ceased operations on November 17, 2014 (and all of their scheduled games after were counted as 1-0 forfeit losses)
- The league annouced that it would become part of the United States Premier Hockey League on March 10th and that this would be the league's last season.
