Taylor Volpe is an ice hockey player for the Colgate Raiders women's ice hockey program.

Playing career[]

Volpe was born in Markham, Ontario but was raised in Tustin, California. She played high school hockey from 2006 to 2010 with the Gilmour Academy. During the 2006-07, she played boys hockey with the Anaheim Jr. Ducks. In addition, Volpe competed for the Anaheim Lady Ducks AAA from 2006-2008.

As a member of the Lady Ducks, she was part of several championship teams. The Lady Ducks won the 2008 AZ Invitational, the 2007 AGYHA championship, the 2006 Lady Ducks Summer and Fall Classics.

USA Hockey[]

Despite being born in Canada, she was part of the 2006 and 2008 USA National Camp for under-16 and under 14 year old players.

NCAA[]

The 2010-11 Colgate Raiders season marked her first year with the club. She appeared in 33 games and started her first game on October 8 versus the Boston College Eagles. Her first collegiate goal against the Wayne State Warriors, on October 23, 2010. The first power play goal of her career came versus the nationally ranked Mercyhurst Lakers on November 27. [1]
