Stephanie Denino (born in Montreal, Quebec) was a member of the Princeton Tigers women's ice hockey program. Currently, she plays for the Montreal Stars of the Canadian Women's Hockey League.

Playing career[]

Princeton Univeristy[]

Denino played for Princeton from 2006 to 2010. In her career, she registered two game winning goals. The first came on February 23, 2008 on the road versus the Clarkson Golden Knights women's ice hockey team. Her second career GWG was registered on December 2, 2008 against the Quinnipiac Bobcats women's ice hockey program.

As a freshman, Denino appeared in all 31 games for the Tigers. She was chosen as the Rookie of the Year by her teammates. Near the end of her first season, she would score goals back-to-back wins over Brown and Yale.

On October 24, 2009, Denino had the last multi-point game of her Tigers career as she accumulated two assists versus the Vermont Catamounts women's ice hockey program. [1]

Hockey Canada[]

She was a member of Team Quebec during the 2005 Women's Under 18 Hockey Challendge.[2] Some of her teammates included future national team members Emmanuelle Blais, Ann-Sophie Bettez, Jesse Scanzano, Catherine Ward. One of the assistant coaches on that team was Olympic Winter Games silver medallist France St. Louis.
