South Island Knights

The South Island Knights are a men's Senior AA hockey team base out of the Fuller Lake Arena in Chemainus, British Columbia.  The team was established for the 2016-17 season.  The team plays in the West Coast Senior AA Hockey League.

The team failed in its attempt to qualify for the 2017 Coy Cup when they lost to the Kelowna Sparta 2 games to none in the final qualifier for the tournament.

The team would compile a 1-4-0 record for the 2017-18 playing season and they lose a best-of-three series 2 games to none to the North Island Capitals in the league playoffs, which was used for qualifying for the 2018 Coy Cup.  The team also played a couple of exhibition games against Vancouver Island University Mariners, losing both games to round off their schedule for the season.

The team has run into problems with being able to play road games as many of the players have full time jobs and have been unable to commit to road trips.  Two separate road series were cancelled during the 2017-18 season.[1]
