The Mississauga Bruins are a junior hockey team located in Rexdale, Ontario. The team is part of the National College Prospects Hockey League which started play in the fall of 2016.
The team was originally planned to be located in Cheektowaga, New York and be known as the Buffalo Hornets; but during the summer of 2016 the team was relocated to Niagara Falls, New York and be known as the New York Sharks. In early September 2016, the team was relocated to Rexdale and were relabeled as the Mississauga Bruins.
