Mads Hansen (born September 16th 1978 in Oslo, Norway) is a professional centre who plays in the Elitserien for Brynäs IF.

The skilled two-way forward began his career with the Manglerud Stars in 1996-97. In 1999, he headed for the Storhamar Dragons, where he would stay until 2002, season where he wore the colours of Vålerenga IF. He only stayed there for one season; he joined Allsvenskan's Hammarby IF. He also played for IK Oskarshamn of the same league; he returned to Storhamar for one season, which turned out to be his most productive in career with 46 assists and 66 points, the second best point total of the Norwegian league, before joining Brynäs in 2006.

He was twice champion of the GET-Ligaen, in 2000 and 2003.

The excellent penalty-killer is a regular member of the Norwegian National Team since 2000. He has been selected to take part in the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada.
