Playing career[]

Leclerc-Auger competed with the Cheminots de Saint-Jérôme in the Ligue de hockey féminin collégial AA. She hit the 50-goal plateau with Collège de Saint-Jérôme in 2007-08.

Hockey Canada[]

The Canadian women's Under-22 team invited her to their 2007 Team Conditioning camp.[1] She was invited to try out for the 2008-09 Canadian national women's Under-22 team but was unable to attend.[2]

McGill Martlets[]

In her freshman season, Leclerc-Auger became the third member of the Martlets in three seasons to win the CIS Rookie of the Year award, marking the first time in CIS history that players from the same school in a team sport were honoured for three consecutive years. In the regular season, she registered 18 goals and 46 points in 18 regular-season games to rank fourth in scoring in the CIS and second in the QSSF.

During the 2009 postseason, Leclerc-Auger scored four goals and assisted on two others as the they swept their playoff series versus the Ottawa Gee-Gees and captured the QSSF league championship with their 51st consecutive victory. At the time of the sweep, she led the Martlets with 45 goals and 89 points in 39 games overall.

Montreal Carabins[]

On March 29, 2009, she announced that she was leaving the McGill Martlets so that she could attend a francophone university.[3] For the 2009-10 season, she had joined the Montreal Carabins women's ice hockey program. In their first season in the CIS, Leclerc-Auger helped them reach the 2010 CIS National Championships.[4] At season's end, she was named to the 2010 QSSF Second All-Star team.[5]

    • Leclerc-Auger became the third member of the Martlets in three years to be named as the top rookie in CIS women’s hockey. Catherine Ward and Ann-Sophie Bettez received the award in 2006-07 and 2007-08.[9]
