Kimberly Newell (born April 10, 1995) is a women's ice hockey player that was invited to the Canadian Under 18 women’s training camp in Rockland, Ontario. Newell was the youngest of the four goaltenders invited to the camp. She represented British Columbia at the 2011 Canada Winter Games (women's) and finished in sixth.

Playing career[]

In 2010-11, she played for the Burnaby Winter Club Midget A1 boys team, which was affiliated with the North West Giants Major Midget AAA boys team.[1] Newell helped the Burnaby Winter Club win bronze at the Western Canadian tournament hosted in Burnaby in 2010.

NWHL[]

In the 2015 NWHL Draft, she was selected by the New York Riveters.
