Kevin Primeau (born January 3, 1956 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played two games in the National Hockey League with the Vancouver Canucks. He would also play seven games in the World Hockey Association with the Edmonton Oilers.
He played with the University of Alberta from 1974–78, winning two University Cups. The Edmonton Oilers signed him as a free agent near the end of the 1977-78 season and Primeau played in seven games for them.
The 1978-79 season was spent as player-coach of HC Davos in Switzerland. Primeau split the 1979-80 season between EHC Visp and the Canadian team at the 1980 Olympics.
The Vancouver Canucks signed him as a free agent in 1980. He played two games for them in 1980-81 and then was sent down to the Dallas Black Hawks. Injuries that season cut his career short.
He was an assistant coach of the Edmonton Oilers from 1991–97 and head coach of the Cologne Sharks in 1997-98.
