Kelowna Sparta

The Kelowna Sparta are a men's Senior AA level hockey team based out of Kelowna, British Columbia.  The team is a member of the West Coast Senior AA Hockey League. The team was established for the 2016-17 season.

The team qualified for the 2017 Coy Cup by defeating the South Island Knights 2 games to none.  The team would lose in the final of the tournament.

The team also qualified for the 2018 Coy Cup as a result of winning the WCSHL championship by default over the North Island Capitals.  They would again lose in the final.

As of February 2020, the Sparta have qualified for the 2020 Coy Cup.

The team had stated on their website if they won the 2018 Coy Cup they would register as Senior AAA the following season.  The 2019 Allan Cup is being held in Lacombe, Alberta.  With the qualifying format that is in place as of 2018, if there were to be a single Senior AAA team in British Columbia, they would automatically qualify for the tournament as the host team (Lacombe Generals) also automatically qualifies, the Alberta provincial champion would also qualify for the tournament if a team from Quebec doesn't participate in Allan Cup qualifying (which has been the case for many years) there would be no need for a Pacific Regional qualifying series for the McKenzie Cup and the region's spot in the tournament and give the BC representative a spot in the tournament. If there are multiple Senior AAA team's in BC for 2018-19 a provincial championship series for the Savage Cup and a spot in the Allan Cup tournament.

In early January of 2019 the team announced that they would not be participating in the 2019 Allan Cup.
