George Gipp Rink circa 2004
The George Gipp Rink is an indoor rink located in Laurium, Michigan. The facility opened in 1976 as the Bicentennial Arena. The arena was later renamed in honor of Laurium native and famed Notre Dame football player George Gipp. The rink is a non-regulation sized arena. The rink was built near its' predecessor rink, the Laurium Airport Rink.
